First of all, our photographic prints are not ordinary inkjet printouts. All photographs are  printed in-house by Epson Stylus Photo 2100/2200 that uses seven-color pigment based UltraChrome inks which deliver higher gamut and longer life prints.

All photographs are printed on the Epson Archival Matte Paper for the best results. The Stylus Photo 2100 provides prints with in excess of 75-100 years lightfastness under indoor display conditions.

Conventional SilverHalide photographs last between 15 and 60 years and Dye based prints last up to 25 years.

The lightfastness of printed images is influenced by a range of different factors, the most important of which are Light - natural or artificial; high or low powered, Humidity - the levels of moisture in the atmosphere, temperature and the atmospheric pollutants.

In order to establish an accurate measurement for lightfastness, EPSON has established stringent test conditions which have been used to establish an accurate figure.
